Qualities of the Best SEO Information in 2021

Qualities of Best SEO

In search advertising there are several distinct thoughts of how Google ranks websites. Who would you think? Nobody can say that they 100% understand Google's algorithm.

Some thoughts are more accurate than others. What makes one thought more dependable is the proof.

There are two bad and untrustworthy sources of proof:

1. Anecdotal evidence

2. Correlation based signs

Anecdotal Search Engine Optimization Proof

Anecdotal refers to notions which derive from the personal experience of a lot of individuals, but without real research and testing to verify the idea.

The first years of SEO were ruled by hypotheses made by anecdotal proof. Among the first cases is when affiliate marketers detected that Google was always banning affiliate websites. This resulted in the hypothesis that Google loathed affiliate websites and was going after them.

That is a good instance of anecdotal proof (a bunch of affiliate marketers found that they lost positions ) which then caused the concept that Google had been "targeting" affiliate websites.

Obviously, they have been wrong. Not merely have Googlers said that Google doesn't treat affiliate websites since lower quality, but there's not any research patents or papers to demonstrate that Google had researched calculations which "targeted" affiliate websites or some particular sorts of entrepreneurs aside from spammers.

Factual proof, in my view, is the way to recognize a flimsy view from a proof based insight.

It is irrelevant whether this Guru is rated on top of Google, which does not prove anything. What's that the factual evidence to back up the thought.

The search engine optimization industry has been subjected to less of this sort of SEO info. At one time, a correlation analysis based on countless search results led to plenty of attention and links. However, the information was awful.

Just because most of the top-ranked websites have active social networking presence doesn't indicate that social networking existence is a ranking element.

That sort of significance is especially incorrect if there's simply no research on such sort of rank variable by any search engine or college anywhere in the world.

But that is the type of correlation crap the search engine optimization industry fell for through the mid-2000's. And for a time several companies wasted money doing things such as trying to draw likes to their FB page.

The times when the search engine optimization industry believed the results of correlation research proved to be a dark phase in the search engine optimization industry.

When there are nonetheless a few SEOs that are publishing correlation research, many SEOs are becoming more and more skeptical and dismissing themas well they should.
